The Commission Process

It all starts with a conversation between you and Drew. You’ll work together to explore your ideas, needs, and preferences, including the functionality of the piece, material selection and finishing options, and budget.

Drew will then take your conversation and work up a rough design sketch and an estimate for the project. After your approval, Drew will collect a 10% design fee in order to proceed with a full design of your bespoke piece, which he will deliver with a final quote and build timeline. No boards are cut until you’re completely happy with the design and sign off on the quote.

For smaller pieces, the remaining fee will be due before work gets underway.

For larger pieces, the remaining fee will be collected in two stages:
- 40% non-refundable deposit to start the build
- 50% is due on completion and delivery of your piece.
